Legal Secretary

Job Description:
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Legal Secretary to support one of the firm’s Senior Partners. This is a very busy role and will include the following key job accountabilities;
- Producing a variety of documents from various source materials, which may include Dictaphone tapes to an extremely high standard with exceptional attention to detail
- Composing routine and non-routine correspondence for Partner as requested.
- Maintaining a very busy calendar, scheduling appointments and coordinating international travel arrangements and meetings
- Liaising with external parties by interacting professionally and displaying a "can do" attitude via electronic and print correspondence, when answering telephone calls, taking and relaying messages, greeting visitors and coordinating attorney, client or other inquires in the absence of the attorney
- Maintaining a professional relationship with other legal counsel, courts, agencies and professional organizations with whom the attorney(s) works
Key Job Requirements;
- Minimum of five years experience as secretary within a legal environment
- Prior experience within an international legal firm would be preferred, specifically within Corporate / Commercial
- Excellent organizational, communication and inter-personal skills
Proficiency in spelling, grammar, proofreading and writing skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to act on own initiative as well as perform effectively as a team player
