Fund Accountant

Job Description:
Our client, a Bermuda based insurance company, is seeking a Fund Accountant. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and the main responsibilities are as follows:


  • Daily reconciliation of multi-currency cash accounts.
  • Reconciliation of outstanding investment transactions.
  • Placement of investment trades.
  • Daily posting & updating of investment administration system
  • Timely position reconciliation of all investment accounts
  • Opening and maintenance of bank and investment accounts.
  • Monthly pricing of all investment holdings
  • Production of monthly and quarterly investment-linked life and annuity policy valuations.
  • Ongoing maintenance of investment and insurance files and databases.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned from time to time.

Candidates must have a university degree in a related field, a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in an investment accounting or administrative role, in-depth knowledge of securities, general knowledge of life insurance administration, and in depth knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly excel.
