Job Description:
On behalf of our client we are seeking a designer and developer of custom .NET applications in support of the Company’s Reinsurance business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Analyze business requirements, design and develop custom .NET applications.
Create and fully document conceptual and detailed design for both program logic and interface data.
Develop well-engineered program code based on descriptions of business logic.
Work as an individual developer locally in Bermuda supporting the Reinsurance business, and interfacing with an overseas development team as necessary
Setup a robust development environment and SDLC based on Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio Team System.
Maintain and modify interfaces between applications as necessary.
Test completed program code for adherence to specifications.
Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Some travel to the USA may be required

Qualifications:

At least 3 years experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, including VB.NET, C#.
Demonstrated experience with SSAS and SSRS also required
Fully competent in object-oriented techniques and N-tier architectures
Current knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio Team System
Proven working knowledge of SQL server and the development of stored procedures
Experience, knowledge and expertise in business and systems analysis and design and project life cycle methodology, best practices and processes.
Reinsurance industry experience and an understanding of reinsurance terminology, business functions and processes.
Proven time management skills and ability to meet individual and team deadlines.
